\nWhy 1949? It is the year of the big march of women in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire against the colonial administration, first in August and in December.<\/p>\n

1949: The library of women\u2019s writings from Africa and the black world was born on March 05th, 2020 but due to the pandemic, we closed our doors the following week to reopen on May 27th, 2020.<\/p>\n
