For this inaugural launch, entrust us with your unpublished texts: short stories, excerpts from novels or even creative non-fiction, in Ivory Coast French, in Nouchi, in Camfranglais, and even in the supposedly ‘good French’.
Please note: We do not accept academic articles.
Send us your short story/novel excerpt or literary creative essay and a short biography (150 words max) and a photo to contact@1949books.com

- Font and size: Times New Roman 12
- Deadline: 25 November 2021

Please also let us know if you would be available for the writing workshop that will take place in 1949 in person from 8 to 10 December 2021 from 10am to 3pm.
We look forward to hearing from you!
